William Derby School located on Mountain Street, offers Kindergarten to Grade 12 with 250 students. W.D.S has internet accessibility, a computer lab, industrial arts lab, and science lab. The students and staff have been very active in academics, sports and extra-curricular activities which include S.R.C., yearbook, drama, safety patrols, S.A.D.D., walk-a-thons and family fun nights. Sports enjoyed at W.D.S. include: volleyball, basketball, curling, badminton, football, golf, cross-country, and track and field.
