Emergency Measures Organization

The Town has an active Emergency Measures Organization (EMO) that meets frequently and holds training events. The local EMO also includes a sub-committee for resident notification, whereby volunteers go around the community to hand out notices door-to-door in the event of an emergency.

Strasbourg is also a part of Living Sky Regional Emergency Measures Organization that encompasses 16 municipalities in the area. The group gets together twice a year to hold training events and discuss regional issues.
