Zoning Bylaw
Under the authority of The Planning and Development Act, 2007, the Town of Strasbourg has passed a Zoning Bylaw to regulate development and control the use of land in accordance with the Town's Official Community Plan.
The Zoning Bylaw provides for the amenity of the area within the Town, and for the health, safety, and general welfare of the residents by:
- Minimizing land use conflicts;
- Establishing minimum standards to maintain the amenity of the Town;
- Ensuring development is consistent with the physical limitations of the land;
- Restricting development that places undue demand on the Town for services; and
- Providing for land-use and development that is consistent with the goals and objectives of the Town.
