Rodger Yauck

I was born and raised on the farm west of Cymric. I attended public school in Govan and following my graduation I attended STI in Moose Jaw to take my Motor Vehicle Mechanical Repair program. I then proceeded to work as an Automotive Technician and obtained my Inter-provincial Journeyman Certificate.

I spent over a decade in the Town of Broadview working as an Automotive Tech, while also part time farming with my family. While in Broadview I was fully involved in my community and participated in social events, local events, Credit Union board member, and the Volunteer Fire Department throughout my years living there. I then returned to the farm at Cymric to farm full time in 1999.

In 2015 I chose to take a new direction in farming by handing over the lead to the next generation. I had purchased my home in Strasbourg in 2013 as I wanted to make Strasbourg my home. I have served as a Strasbourg Town Councillor for the past four years, and I am interested in representing our community of Strasbourg as a Council member for another four year term by offering my experiences to support the Town in moving forward into the future.
