Brick of Fame Initiative

The Brick of Fame campaign provides you, your family, your business, or your organization, with the opportunity of leaving a legacy by having your name, message, symbol, or logo located on a brick on the outside wall of the Town Office. It is a powerful way to build community, honour local history, and recognize personal family commemorative dates. By purchasing personalized bricks, you are contributing directly to important projects of Town beautification.

Your support helps maintain our Town as a place where people feel proud to live, gather, and create memories. Beautification projects from vibrant green spaces and welcoming public areas, to flowers and community improvements, are more than cosmetic; they strengthen community spirit and encourage growth where everyone can feel safe and inspired. Each brick purchased helps maintain and build Strasbourg as a Town that reflects the care and spirit of the people who live here.

Individual metal plaques will be affixed directly onto the bricks and will be maintained for a maximum of 10 years. If replacement is necessary during this time due to damage, it will be at the cost of the Brick of Fame Committee.

The bricks can feature names, special dates (such as birthdays, anniversaries, dates families moved here or in-memoriam dates), as well as establishment dates of Town businesses and organizations. Each brick is 7.5” x 2.25” so wording is limited and the Brick of Fame Committee will approve final wording. It is understood that engraving on the brick in no way constitutes ownership of the item or the building upon which it is situated.

Each brick will cost $150 or 3 bricks for $400.

All donations are tax deductible through the Town of Strasbourg.
