Kelvin Schapansky
My name is Kelvin Schapansky and I have lived in the Strasbourg area since 1984. I am very proud to call it my home and to be part of such a wonderful community.
I farmed in the area and retired in 2018. I also owned a local business, Diger's Service, from 2006-2011. As a businessman, I realize the importance of supporting our local businesses and the important role that these businesses play in the community.
I have served and continue to serve on many different boards in town including Affinity Credit Union, Strasbourg and District Health Centre, the local food grains growing project and for the church Calvary Fellowship. I have been married to my wonderful wife Arlene for 42 years and we have been blessed with two wonderful daughters and now five grandchildren.
I have had the privilege of serving on the Town of Strasbourg Council as a Councillor for four years and now as Mayor for the last eight years. I am proud of what has been accomplished in our town during that time and am looking forward to using my role as Mayor to ensure that our town continues to grow and progress into the future.
