Lorne Gottselig

My name is Lome Gottselig, and I have been a resident of Strasbourg for over 38 years. I am a retired high school Math teacher, having taught my entire career at William Derby School in Strasbourg. My wife Wendy and I have one son, Josh.

While in Strasbourg, I have been actively involved in several groups. I have been a member of the Strasbourg Lions Club for over 35 years. I am a founding member of the Last Mountain Theatre Company and I am the current treasurer. Currently, I sit on the Emergency Measures Organization for the Town of Strasbourg as the Information Officer and the vice-chairperson for the Last Mountain Economic Development Alliance (LMEDA). I am an avid curler, member of the Strasbourg Curling Club and previously I have been a member of the Curling Club Board. I have also been a member of the Strasbourg and District Recreation Centre Board for the last 5 years.

I love the Town of Strasbourg and call it my home. Our town has so much to offer its residents. I have enjoyed being on the Strasbourg Town Council for the past 6 years, and I look forward to working for the betterment of our wonderful community.
